January update

I hope 2009 is treating you well!

My work will be shown in the Washington Project for the Arts Auction and Show as well as the AU Arts Management MFA auction. Both open Saturday, January 31 at the Katzen Art Museum. The MFA auction is for one night only.

I will also be starting my Keyholder Residency at Pyramid Atlantic Art Center on February 1, so look for new work soon!

The AU Arts Management students invite you to a Silent Auction on Saturday, January 31, 2009 from 6:00- 9:00 pm in the Katzen Arts Center at American University.

This year's silent auction will take place in conjunction with the American University Museum's reception for the following exhibitions: Carrie Moyer: Painting Propaganda; Evri Kwong: Just Pretend Everything Is OK; Paul Daniel: Kinetic Sculpture; and Kugach, Kugach, Kugach:Three Generations of Russian Artists.

All proceeds from the auction will support the second annual Emerging Arts Leaders Symposium, hosted by American University. This student-run event presents information on topics of leadership and career development for young arts professionals and provides them valuable networking opportunities as well as a free public forum.
