Solo show announcement!

Hello! It's been an incredibly busy summer so far. Lots of work in the studio thankfully means lots of shows! I want to let you know about my upcoming SOLO show (I'm incredibly excited about it!!!) and some really great places to see other new work. I also want to thank all those who assisted me in the studio, getting ready for shows, and your encouragement. It truly means the world to me! Jenny

Hillyer Art Space Exhibitions: Call for artists for 2010 season

C a l l f o r A r t i s t s :
International Arts and Artists' Hillyer Art Space is currently accepting submittals until July 31st, 2009 for its regional artists series of exhibitions beginning January through December 2010.

Requirements:
*Artists must be currently living or working from the Mid Atlantic Region (MD, DE, WV, VA, & DC).
*Artists seeking a solo show at Hillyer must not have been featured in a solo show in DC area within the last 10 years.
*All work to be included in Hillyer Art Spaces shows must have been made in the last 5 years.

Submissions must include the following materials:
*A CD or DVD with up to 10 images, no larger than 5mb each, submitted on a disc as a high resolution 300 dpi JPEGs (do not use GIFs, TIFFs or other formats). Any additional images (over the limit of 10), or any images that do not conform to the guidelines outlined will not be accepted. You may also submit less than 10 images. Image Size - Images can be up to 1920 pixels on the longest side. Do not embed images into PowerPoint. If submitting video limit to 1 minute clips in file formats compatible with Quicktime.

*Label the CD-R with the artist's name, contact information and number of images. Images will be viewed on PCs, not Macs, so CD-Rs must be PC-readable, otherwise they are ineligible.

*File Labeling - Files must be titled with a number indicating the viewingorder, followed by the artist's last name. The numbers must correspond to the accompanying Image List. Use "0" (zero) in front of single digit numbers. Do not use more than 30 characters, and use only letters, numbers, and underscores. Example: 01_Jones; 02_Jones. If using Mac OS 8 or 9, include a ".jpg" extension at the end of each image title. Example: 01_Jones.jpg.

*A complete checklist of works containing the title, year, medium, and dimension of each work.

*Complete artist resume or CV.

*If submitting a group exhibitions proposal - Curatorial statement and artist roster with individual artists' resumes and slide lists for proposed group exhibitions must be submitted.

*Images should clearly depict the work shown.

*Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope (SASE) with sufficient postage and large enough to accommodate your images and any protection for your images if you would like them returned. If SASE is not included in application, images will be discarded after review.

Please note that July 31st is the delivery date and not the postmark deadline. E-mail submissions will not be accepted. Submissions can be delivered in person or mailed to:
