Help create my next work & new exhibtions

Back to the studio!

As some of you may know I’ve been taking some time off from the studio lately to get a brand spanking new knee.  The great news is, it works!!!!  I’m truly enjoying feeling nearly normal again and walking like I haven’t been able to in years.  My favorite part, passing people on the sidewalk; because I have places to go!  One of the places is certainly back into the studio and using all that thinking time effectively.

Right now one of the things I’m working on is The Humor Project, a new community based work that explores the relationship between healing and humor.  I need your help and input!!  I’ll be working in new media and utilizing collected jokes.  This is where you come in: 

I need YOU to call
and leave me your favorite joke in 3 minutes or less.  

These collected soundbites will then be utilized in a future installation.

Sunday, September 25: 12-5pm
WPA will participate in the (e)merge art fair at the Capitol Skyline Hotel. Please join us in Room 211 to see installations by Kyan Bishop, Mei Mei Chang, and the WPA Member Flat File featuring works on paper by over 100 member artists!  MORE>>
